Hosting Seminars

Experience Counts

For 30+ years, Tom has taught over 1500 seminars in 25 countries and has worked out the easiest way for hosts to have a hassle-free and successful event.

DRIVE-TO EVENTS

No Work for Host

Tom provides flyers/ads, a Facebook event page, instruction, color certificates, and training tools.

The Host has Control

The host decides which course the Trainer will present, who is invited (minimum age 16), how much to charge, and collects the money.

About Dividing the Income

The host and the Trainer evenly divide the workshop income 50-50% and both can decide in advance the minimum they are willing to accept for it to be worth their while. For example, the Trainer's minimum fee for a local seminar is $300/2-hours (varies with driving distance). That means: the Trainer receives the first $300 collected, the host receives the second $300 collected, and then together they evenly divide any remaining funds. Only the host trains for free and everyone else pays, including spectators.

To be fair: If, two days before the day of the seminar the host thinks he may not bring in to pay the Trainer's minimum and have enough remaining to be worth his while, the host can simply cancel the event. The host never has to come out of pocket if they simply cancel in time. If the host cancels the day of the event, he/she pays 50% of the Trainer's minimum because it’ll be too late to schedule other work for that day.

Also, we will provide the host with the advertising he/she needs whether it be a Facebook event page, graphics, flyers, or whatever. Hosts are not permitted to create their own advertising.

Our company policy is there are no recording devices of any kind permitted; anyone who needs to use their cell phone must take their call outside of the training area and this includes the host, with no exceptions. The Trainer will take photos and provide them to the host for social media and other uses.

FLY-TO EVENTS

Under the Host’s Control
The host has complete control over the event and decides which course(s) he wants the Trainer to present, who is invited, how much they pay, and who is on the guest list. The host collects the money and owns the entire profit or loss.

Advertising Provided
We handle one of the most difficult tasks of all – advertising design and copy. We are very particular about marketing so we are always happy to provide whatever customized advertising designs you need.

The Seminar
The Trainer will verbally explain and physically demonstrate the key points of the activities. Typically, the Trainer works hands-on with trainees while making personal corrections and he provides color certificates for participation.

Rates
The host pays the Trainer's airfare (upon booking), the hotel (upon check-in), and his/her fee (in advance). Trainers' rates vary according to the total days of travel, total days of work, and the number of hours/day.

Our company policy is there are no recording devices of any kind permitted; anyone who needs to use their cell phone must take their call outside of the training area and this includes the host, with no exceptions. The Trainer will take photos and provide them to the host for social media and other uses.
